Are You Ready?
Buckle Up. It’s Time for Takeoff.
To be completely honest, with the Kiln Speaking series including monthly transits summaries, the last couple of months haven’t been conducive to hermitting into the Word Factory to write a thoughtful post about everything that’s going on with the sky and, more importantly, how best to equip you for it.
However, starting today through the rest of the summer, we’re getting treated to the meaty dynamism that’s needed for a “Great Reset”. These ranging three “horsemen” are will now truly starting to show what they’re all about. So, in good conscious and with a duty of care, I picked up my pen to put words to “paper” so my conscience would be clear that I’d done what I could to make sure that you’re ready to respond and not react.
This isn’t an exhaustive list by any stretch of the imagination, and, as always, the impacts depend on your personal chart and what planets are activated for you this year. However, it is a list that has global and systemic implications — and, for better or worse, my hit record is proving to be eerily precise this year (and there’s a part of me that would rather it wasn’t).
Also, no TLDR. If you don’t have the attention span to slog it through then the message is not for you.
Dates To Watch
June 17 | Venus in Leo flips the bird to Pluto in Aquarius
The things we do whilst high as a kite…
So, yesterday, Venus in Leo smoked with great delight the pipe that Neptune in Aries loaded up, lit, and passed to her. Venus, our planet of provision, connection, beauty, pleasurable embodiment, is in Leo for the next three weeks getting her diva on. So, of course, Neptune in the sign of the self busted out the roses and plaudits and all that glitters and said, “Get it, Girl!” So, today, Venus is set to fuck around and find out while she drives by Pluto and flips him the bird. Pluto is Mr. Detox. He’s the garbage man, the insurance adjuster, the aesthetician extracting your zits, the technician conducting your enema — and he’s in Aquarius — the sign of humanity, humanity’s purchase in the future, the people you need on side to make your dreams and wishes come true. The good thing is that Pluto loves Venus in the way the Merovingian loves Persephone in The Matrix series. And, right now, Persephone is pulling a cheeky release of the Keymaker to Neo et al for a kiss. In the real world? What big bad beast are you willing to confront for that bit of magic and beauty you need to give this life meaning and to really FEEL something new and hence know yourself in a different way? In the world? Watch what’s going on with monetization and currency.
June 19 | Chiron goes into Taurus (for three months and is back from April 2027 to 2034)
Hoarders will be forced to de-clutter and divest.
Chiron, the wounded healer, goes into the sign of resourcing, agriculture, and the pleasure of physical embodiment. On the world stage get ready for the collective recognizing that we must re-envision how we provision humanity (including energy, agriculture, and housing) within the limitations Mother Earth imposes on us. Personally? It’s time to get taken to task for how you provision yourself and look at what you’re holding on to. Prepare to redefine wealth.
June 20 | Uranus in Gemini perfects its square to the North Node in Pisces and South Node in Virgo
ANALOG
This entire week and the beginning of next is a set up for the lunar eclipse on August 28th at 4 Pisces (the last of this series for 9 years). Uranus in Gemini is all about disrupting connection, thought processes, our local connections that inform our core identity. When it hits the south nodal bend, there may or may not be “fireworks” in the external world, but business as usual in these areas will definitely no longer have support or be tenable. Look to August 28th for the pay off. For my money, figure out how to live analog again and definitely step away from the tech that’s mining you.
June 28 | Mars enters Gemini (until August 11th — my birthday!)
Get your fire suit ready.
Mars might not like being in Taurus BUT it cannot countenance being in Gemini. Mars likes a straightforward plan. Gemini is not straightforward — ever. It meanders, pecks, nibbles, noodles, experiments. But do you know what Mars likes? BLOWING SHIT UP and so does Gemini. You know who else likes blowing shit up? Uranus. The two will meet on JULY 4th. All I have to say is, maybe something will happen externally or wait until the August 28th eclipse for the pay off BUT a seed will be sown — and you know what seeds do when they germinate? The explode their seed casing Use this time to strike a balance between foresight and adaptability. Failing to act because you can’t trust your thought process or failing to read the room and doing whatever you’re going to do, that’s Mars’ bugaboo in this part of the sky. With Mercury in Cancer for the entirety of this transit (and retrograde for the first three weeks of it) it gets even trickier.
June 29 | Full Moon at 8 Capricorn, Mercury goes Retrograde (until July 23rd), AND Jupiter enters Leo (until July 25, 2027)
If you want it done right…
Step away from “the greatest year ever”, Aries, Leos, Sagittariuses, Libras, and Geminis AI and Social Media slop. STOP IT. Look at your water sign brethren. Half of them are asking for a refund on Jupiter in Cancer. Jupiter in Leo will be co-present with the South Node SOON ENOUGH (August 18th to be approximate) and you know what the South Node likes to do? Release! And what is Jupiter but a big GAS BALL. It’s going to be like popping the juiciest, down deep acne cyst in whatever houses Jupiter rules in your chart and it will take all of the planets that Jupiter sees to help do this. Also, until mid-august, Jupiter in Leo takes over being the North Node’s boss — which might take some of the tooth out of Rahu, meaning Rahu’s ravenous appetite for connecting to spirit as a function of being made aware of its need for Mama will turn into one that will stem from being aware that one is shining a light that is meant to nurture others. What can YOU give to create meaning for another, the world, the Universe?
But first, Mercury Retrograde in Cancer: Re-vise how you perceive home. Re-conceive what emotional satisfaction means. Re-integrate nervous system regulation as a MUST not a “nice to have” in your life. Re-state how you communicate your needs and feelings to those with whom you are inter-dependent. Re-view your actual level of emotional intelligence. FOR THE NEXT 3 WEEKS. In the world? This is less about travel snafus and more about resuming conversations around motherhood, nurture, and solutions for the dysfunctional relationship we have to this planet as our home.
This full moon is about bringing to fruition what it means when you ask for what you can get instead of what you need to be nurtured and nourished in order to participate — and to teach you to deal with being disappointed in others. A lot of us are so afraid of disappointment that we settle for smaller lives instead of learning the amazing lessons that disappointment can teach us: the world is bigger; the person we’re dealing with isn’t the false projection we have of them in our mind; your investment of attention and energy will be better deployed for a larger return of meaning elsewhere, etc. There’s self sufficiency because you really are the only one who has a particular genius to get something done and there’s self sufficiency because you’re afraid to be vulnerable, look dumb, or you’re afraid of rejection. Moon in Capricorn is the Peggy Lee “Is that all there is?” Moon — and it winds up going dancing.
This list is getting long so here are a few in July and, if you like this, let me know and I’ll do something more regularly or start a series of Monday Morning Briefing Chats.
July 2 | Mars in Gemini squares the North Node in Pisces and South Node in Virgo
Your last nerve.
Here comes the aftershock to June 20th and you may be called to deliver the coup de grâce to whatever Uranus brought to its knees. Otherwise, watch out for the Aries and Scorpio houses of your charts undergoing a severe test. Again, you may not have the real world result until the eclipse at the end of August. In the world, just please try not to schedule travel on this date and pick your battles with care.
July 4 | Mars meets Uranus in Gemini
THE BIG BANG THEN CHAOS
So, the literal hidden story here is that Mercury Retrograde will be conjoined to this VERY EXPLOSIVE meeting of our two favorite demolition experts. Personally, I would stay home, be quiet, and read some IRL books and do some journaling and maybe a lot of shredding and decluttering…maybe even throw all of that kindling into a very safely contained fire. Why? This is one of those aspects where insecurities and intrusive thoughts can lead one into situations where things get spoken out loud that can never be walked back or unsaid. Sure, if you want to revolutionize the life you’re living, GO FOR IT. If you needed to blow up an obstruction, you will have more than enough support from the universe. Just walk into it knowing that you will be picking up elemental pieces — this is big bang energy.
July 5 | Mars in Gemini waves “hey girl” to Pluto in Aquarius
Death Dealer to the Lord of Hades
On July 4th, Mars might’ve been super charged up because of the support he was getting from Pluto. Mars is a warrior and by extent then a death dealer of sorts. Pluto processes souls that Mars sends to Hades. If you’ve watched the series KAOS, it’s a perfect example of this dynamic. Mars kills off what keeps you attached to an egoic perception of life. Pluto repurposes the grief of those ego deaths into a much clearer perception of self/Self.
