Applies to all sessions, classes, and retainer engagements with The Practical Astrologer.

By proceeding with booking or engagement of services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions, including the cancellation and payment policies outlined below.

CANCELLATION + RESCHEDULING

Online Sessions

Appointments canceled 48+ hours in advance may be refunded at 50% (less processing fees for credit card payments) or rescheduled without penalty.
Appointments canceled within 48 hours are non-refundable, but may be eligible for rescheduling or credit toward a future session.
No-shows are not eligible for refund or credit.

IN-PERSON SESSIONS

Appointments canceled 48+ hours in advance may be refunded at 50% (less processing fees) or rescheduled to a future date without penalty.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled within 48 hours are strictly non-refundable and are not eligible for rescheduling, credits, or transfers. The full fee is retained to cover non-recoupable physical venue holding costs.
No-shows forfeit the full fee. No credit or reschedule will be issued.

Classes & Webinars

CLASSES + WEBINARS

Deposit & Payment Terms:

Seat Reservation: A 20% deposit is required at booking to reserve your seat. Your payment details are securely vaulted at checkout.
Balance Processing: The remaining 80% balance is automatically charged to your card on file 48 hours prior to the first scheduled class session, contingent upon the cohort meeting minimum enrollment.

Client Cancellations & Transfers:

Advance Notice (48+ Hours): If you cancel your enrollment at least 48 hours before the first scheduled session, your remaining 80% balance will not be charged. The 20% deposit is non-refundable but may be transferred once to a future cohort or applied as credit toward 1:1 services.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows (Within 48 Hours): Cancellations made within 48 hours of the first class session, or failure to attend, are not eligible for a refund. The remaining balance will be charged as scheduled. Once processed, all fees are non-refundable. Cohort transfers or credits inside this window are granted solely at the provider’s discretion.

Provider Cancellation (Minimum Enrollment or Emergencies):

Cohort Minimums: If a cohort does not meet minimum enrollment 48 hours prior to start, the class will be canceled. Your vaulted card will not be charged for the remaining balance, and your 20% deposit will be promptly refunded in full (or applied to a future cohort/offering at your request).
Provider Emergencies: If the provider must cancel a cohort due to unforeseen emergency circumstances, enrolled students will receive a 100% refund of all fees paid (including deposit) or the option to transfer enrollment to the next available cohort.

JUPITER'S LAST STAND

No Show Fee/Credit Card Collection

At booking, a credit card will be collected but NOT charged nor will the amount pre-authorized. However, the $36 no-show fee remains in place until your payment is received or you cancel without payment 48+ hours in advance of your appointment. If payment is not received AND/OR you do not cancel or reschedule your appointment 48+ hours before your appointment (after your 1-time grace period specified below), you will be charged the $36 as "no show" fee.

Payment

You will receive a payment request via the method you specified (i.e., Zelle, Apple Mobile Pay, or (by arrangement) CashApp) and to the handle you provided. Payment must be received within 48 hours of booking. (As a courtesy, because life comes up, you will have a one-time grace to pay no less than 48+ hours before your appointment if a delay is communicated to me.)

Once payment is received, the $36 cancels out and the above cancellation and rescheduling policies activate.

Refunds + Discontinuation

All Jupiter’s Last Stand membership fees are non-refundable once begun. If unexpected life changes occur (e.g., serious illness, relocation), I may consider partial credit toward future offerings.

I reserve the right to discontinue the engagement in cases of persistent misalignment, rescheduling, or ethical conflict. In such cases, a pro-rated refund for unused sessions may be issued, minus admin fees and value of work already delivered.

ANNUAL RETAINER POLICIES

Session Expiry

All sessions must be booked and used within 12 months of purchase. Sessions do not roll over.

Refunds & Discontinuation

All retainers are non-refundable once begun and can be transferred with written notice. If unexpected life changes occur (e.g., serious illness, relocation), I may consider partial credit toward future offerings.

GIFT CERTIFICATES & PACKAGES

Valid for 1 year from date of purchase. Not redeemable for cash. Can be transferred with written notice.

INVOICING & PAYMENT

Credit Card Payment

Available at time of booking. Processed via Square. Includes processing fee.

Zelle & Apple Mobile Pay

If preferred, indicate your associated email address or phone number at booking. A payment request will be sent directly and is due within 48 hours to confirm booking otherwise the card collected at checkout will be charged to secure the appointment.

Invoicing

You may opt to receive an invoice for your records and remit payment either via credit card (full price) or Zelle/Apple Mobile Pay (with courtesy discount). Select the relevant option during intake. Payment must be received within 48-hours after invoice is sent to confirm booking otherwise the card collected at checkout will be charged to secure the appointment.

RECORDINGS & MATERIALS

All sessions and classes are recorded on ProtonMeet and transcripts generated by Otter.ai unless you request otherwise.

Recordings, transcripts, searchable AI notes, and any accompanying visuals (e.g., class decks or PDFs) are provided for your personal, private use only.

By attending, you agree not to reproduce, distribute, excerpt, publish, or share any part of these materials — including my voice, image, or likeness — in any format (audio, video, written, or digital) without my express written permission.

SLIDING SCALE

Sliding scale pricing is available for a limited number of sessions or class seats each month. Priority goes to those facing systemic barriers to access. To apply, submit a brief message about your situation and intention.
